Class stuff:

E3H: BUY "Asher Lev" today; read through the first two chapters for Tuesday.  Writing Workshop is Monday, and that means you should prepare a conference draft: print out two copies in color and include at the top a few sentences explaining what you are trying to accomplish in this draft and what you want the focus of the conference to be.

E2CP: BUY "Our Town" today.  Over the weekend: write an essay of approximately two pages using  TNTSIJ, the Thoreau/Emerson quotes, or both (as well as the Transcendentalist principles as outlined in the blog here) as supports that answers the following question: Is Transcendentalism alive in Lake Forest, Illinois in 2010? (See HW calendar for outline and samples.)

CW: Continue revising various pieces and continue working on Journal Challenge #1!
