What's in a name? A Bard by any other name would write as sweet. Would he not? And yet, forsooth, methinks that the Bard who wears the name of Shakespeare is verily the finest of them all.
And, hey, the dude is 448 years old! That's...old!
Here are just some of the common English expressions that we would not have today if it were not for William Shakespeare:
