The idiot thought that he had landed in the East Indies and never, for his entire life, could be convinced otherwise.  It took Amerigo Vespucci to figure out, later on, that this was in fact a completely different continent.  Ah, Columbus.  What a loser!

But he gives us an extra day off, so Yay him!

1. Record yourself in a couple of conversations just to prove how awful they would be if they ever were what you actually wrote down.
2. Delete them.
3. Write a story in which a key aspect of two characters' conflict is conveyed through a dialogue between them without their giving away completely what they are talking about.
