long snow, short day

We really should start school at 9:50 every day.

Anyway...

Juniors... We are now reading The Theban Plays. For tomorrow, read as much of Oedipus the King as you can. You'll finish it (and read Antigone as well) by Wednesday. Essays are due tomorrow, projects by Tuesday.

Sophomores... We are now reading Death of a Salesman; read as much as you can of Act One tonight; you will finish the play over the long weekend.

Drama... Tonight's assignment (besides continuing the spy game and finding me a story joke if you owe me one and doing the don't bother me exercise if you owe me that--see why it's not a good idea to fall behind here?) is to develop (and practice) two brief 1-2 minutes monologues: one that tells of an interesting event that happened to you, and the other of an interesting event that did not happen to you.

Had enough snow? This weatherman in Baltimore sure has:

And this one has nothing to do with anything. It is just simply HILARIOUS!
